If you are interested to assist with the training of instructors, the IDC Staff Instructor Course is the right course for you. You need to be Master Scuba Diver Trainer before you can start on this course.
During their training, IDC Staff Instructors overview the entire PADI Instructor Development program and learn to act as assistants during instructor-level training courses. IDC Staff Instructors work with PADI Course Directors to develop instructor candidates teaching abilities as well as shape their attitudes as dive professionals. IDC Staff Instructors are also authorized to independently conduct PADI Assistant Instructor courses to assist with the second part of the IDC and continuing education programs for instructors.

The course starts with a 2 day verification of your current knowledge and skills and then continues with the development of the skills and knowledge needed to perform your new duties.

The IDC Staff Instructor Course begins 2 days before the IDC, runs during the entire IDC and takes in total 11 days.
